Thank you to all the photographers that shared their best composite fantasy shots in this photo contest with chances to win a magnesium tripod and more. The magnesium tripod had a universal ball head handle with secured clip, double securing your camera from accident dropping.

A special thanks to our friend and professional photographer Robin Griggs Wood for her collaboration as a guest judge. Along with expressing these sensibilities through her photography, Robin has worked in natural media, including acrylic, oil, watercolor, charcoal, pastels, pencils and ink, as well as having years of experience working with Adobe Photoshop in the areas of color-correction, photo-retouching, compositing and digital painting replicating natural media. For 10 years, Robin has been dedicated to helping others expand their creative ability. It is Robin's lifelong goal to change the notion which a great number of people resign to that one needs to have “talent” to pursue the art they feel or want.

People's Choice
Grand Jury Winner

"Fabulous storytelling and a truly original work. Exceptional compositing with a tight, well-considered complementary color palette and superb tones. Congratulations on your great work, Matthew!" - Robin Griggs Wood

Amateur Winner

"This is a true fantasy world, created with a strong understanding of lighting, composition, color and storytelling. This artist not only created an excellent composite, but one that embodied the theme of this contest. Congratulations on your great work, Jirka!" - Robin Griggs Wood

Runner Up

"There is no more fantasy world than a child's imagination and, while there were other images in this contest that also addressed this topic, this one was the most well-executed. The story is clear with an excellent composition that conveyed a strong connection to the child and the inspiration of their fantasy world. You can feel the action in this and the lighting is perfect.  Congratulations on your great work, Dana!" - Robin Griggs Wood

Runner Up

"I don’t know if this artist got the opportunity to watch the video I did that was associated with this contest, but one of the things I love in an artwork is when the artist can make me smile. Not only does this image represent the theme well, as a full-on fantasy world, but it is well composited and the juxtaposition of the end-of-the-world horror and the beatific joy on the family's members faces is priceless and brilliant! They could be leaving Disneyland after a long day ... ;o)).  Congratulations on your great work, Randy!" - Robin Griggs Wood
