This is a beautiful portrait, Brendan. I would crop a bit from one side to get her out of the middle and I agree her ear should be in focus. All that said, it is still a beautiful image. Her eyes are tack sharp and absolutely beautiful. Nice job.

beautiful shot can i say dont cut of a persons chin, cut off at brow level or below nose but it is more pleasing to leave the jaw line in again only i hope a helpful comment you always want the viewer to be engaged i hope you are enjoying view bug and look forward to seeing more of your images

Just read the other comments… by cropping the chin and top of the head and concentrating on horizontal center, you're simply making this all about the eyes and the freckles. Which it is.
I think it's a bold crop and just cause you broke every single rule of portraiture that exists, doesn't mean it's not a fabulous portrait. I kinda dig it when a photographer goes against the grain. It's what keeps art proliferating.
