Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo while out on a school outing. A great place that helps to educate children on the local wildlife.

Time

Early afternoon

Lighting

A cloudy autumn day gave way to soft light and colouring

Equipment

Nikon D800E, 50-500, F6.3, ISO280

Inspiration

I have visited a few times but the colouring that day was spectacular.

Editing

I shot in RAW and used Lightroom to sharpen the blacks and shadows

In my camera bag

70-200, extra batteries and memory cards!

Feedback

Patience and practice! I waited until everyone left the area and took several pics and this one was my favorite.
