Location
This photo was taken on a family trip to the Cracow Zoo.Time
This is one of my favorite images. I remember walking around the zoo. It must have been noon or maybe early afternoon because the Sun has been high up.Lighting
The image was shot few years ago so I do not remember much, however I am quite sure i did not use any artificial lightning. It was a sunny day, but a few clouds could have been seen here and there.Equipment
This was shot on Sony Alpha 330 and a 70-300 mm 1:4-5.6 tele-macro Tamron lens. No other equipment has been used.Inspiration
As an self thought photographer I look for inspiration all around me. I love animals, however I have mixed feelings about seeing them "behind bars". I have seen other people taking same shots of animals through the wire mesh and I thought I want to try something different. I had no idea what I was looking for so I just started shooting. I was focusing on details rather than a big picture and this shot is what i came up with.Editing
This shot ranks in top 10 of my best shots in my opinion. Knowing that i did not do any post- processing makes me even more proud. It was perfect the way it was shot!In my camera bag
The first thing I pack is my Canon 700 D. Every day I carry with me my standard 18-55 mm lens, spare batteries and memory cards.Feedback
My advice for those trying to capture something similar is simple: get out of your comfort zone and try something different. You are limited only by your imagination!
