I usually find spider close ups a bit creepy but this one with the amazing blue petal background manages to make me think of a spider at a black tie event, looking its best, rather dapper even . Congratulations on this wonderful image

Nikon D300, reversed lens 18-55mm kit lens. Used flash to freeze the subject hand held .Inspiration

Can always google for macro photography or cheap macro photography. Always shoot in Manual mode shoot 3 shots forward and 3 shots backwards. Even if you think the subject is in focus the most important are the eyes that is why I always shoot 6 shots.
