Superb, it is as if the mountain is on fire. Excellent detail and well composed with the colour echoed in the clouds.

Location
This photo was taken in the beautiful Torres del Paine National Park, in Chilean Patagonia. It was summer time, in December 2011.Time
at sunset, right before it went away behind the mountain range.Lighting
Nothing in particular; I was standing out there in the open, the day was slightly overcast and the sun just came through that one cloud before it set behind the mountain. I must have taken 2 or 3 shots before I finally got the lighting I was looking for, with the reflection of the colors into the clouds.Equipment
I just used my D60 camera with the 15-108 lens I was travelling with at the time. No tripod, no flash.Inspiration
The light caught my eye as the reddish and bright yellow of a typical sunset stroke the mountain. Nature in this National Park is so impressive your eyes catch the slightest change in lighting because it changes the perception upon the landscape.Editing
I only use Photoshop Elements 11 to add a bit more contrast and lightings in most pictures. In that case, I wanted to eye to be completely drawed to the light and added that tiny bit of darker contrast with the surrounding so the rest would radiate. In my camera bag
I still travel with my beloved D60 camera, the very effective 15-108 lens with a polarized filter, but have added to the kit a new 50mm f1:1.8 lens. Nothing more.Feedback
Go to Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. There's material at any time of the day, with all kinds of natural lightings and elements. This shot was not prepared at all; it just happened (after a few trying shots).
