The old train and the stars make an incredible scene and the angle is just perfect!

Location
The photo was taken Kluczyki near Torun in Poland. There was this old engine standing on the rail end dying year after year. I was there few times to take shots as this is really exceptional view. Recently I was told it was taken to the museum in other part of Poland... That is both nice and sad as It will live longer, but I will have no possibility to shoot it anymore... :(Time
This was night time. It was really hard to get there as it was in the middle of summer and grass was high and in complete darkness it was hard to find the wayLighting
I have used some torches to add specific mood for this shot although it is not that visible. There was red torch in the cabin, you can see some lantern on the front and i have tried additional light painting around wheelsEquipment
I had to use tripod, this was Sony A700 camera with Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 lensInspiration
I wanted to make it look a bit like steam punk - horror.Editing
It is a picture processed as HDR from 5 other shots. Nest time I will use just one of them for stars to make them more sharp and as points not trailsIn my camera bag
I use Sony Aphta A77 with wide variety of lenses. I always carry lots of torches, wool for sparkles and other colorful lighting equipment as I am fan of Light Painting photography. For this reason I also have tripod with me.Feedback
You need lots of time, good clear sky tripod and long exposures. You can hardly touch the camera when doing all the pictures so a remote is a good pick.
