The photo was taken on the Trans Pennine Trail near Sheffield, there was this little trail through some trees just off the main path, like a secret path i suppose you can call itTime
About 2pm, went on a long dog walk that dayLighting
There was nothing special about the lighting on the day, it was pretty overcast with a lot of cloud, i had to bring a lot out in the RAW fileEquipment
I had my Canon EOS 5D Mark III with a 24-105mm lens, think i had it at f/4 with Iso 100Inspiration
In the Pic is my son Charlie and dog Rex, i was out for a while with them just taking shots of them walking together, like a best buds type shot , when i got this we were coming out of a clearing with me trailing behind, so i just shouted "OI" and they both turned together which i loved, it reminds me of a film/book cover ;)Editing
Not a whole lot of processing gone into it, mostly exposure, contrast and clarity, then i used Silver Efex Pro to convert it, its a nice tool for black and whiteIn my camera bag
Usually when im out i have my 24-105mm, nifty 50 and 70-200mm along with various filters if i find a nice landscape, the 24-105 is a nice walkabout lens to have.Feedback
Ha, yes, Patience is a virtue and also Luck, i had some nice dramatic clouds in the background and all the trees and such framed it nicely, just an overall dramatic effect and if not for shouting i wouldn't have got them turning around together which makes it for me
