Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is taken at my parents' home in Palestine. I don't know the lady but she was explaining her life under occupation. She was tired, sad, and exhausted. But she still has hope and a strong belief that one day her people and her land will be free. She will live the freedom

Time

Afternoon, around 4:00 PM

Lighting

Natural light from a wide window. I always loved the natural light and how much it dramatically can change the photo. Natural light if used correctly is away better than any artificial lights

Equipment

Canon 550d, no tripod, no flash is used.

Inspiration

I felt that her age and her suffering were drawn at her hand as lines, each line represents a day, Wrinkles were the reflection of her hard life

Editing

I converted it to black and white, resized it, and. cropped it using photoshop

In my camera bag

I have my Canon DSL 5Ds as my prime camera, attached to Tamoron 18-270. I carry Canon 50mm always, tripod, flash , extra sd cards and cleaning kit

Feedback

wait and wait and wait until you capture the moment. The moment that will live longer than anything. Be patient, and be creative...
