Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Ormond Beach, FL, in our back yard.

Time

This photo was taken at 11:00am.

Lighting

Natural lighting was used to take the photo of the baby bird, as I didn't want to disturb them or the mother.

Equipment

The camera used was a Canon EOS Rebel T2I with the 18-55mm lens. No tripod was used, just freely holding the camera.

Inspiration

I am mainly taking photos of nature, landscapes, wildlife. When I heard the baby birds I knew I had to capture them with some photos. Everyday I would check on them. Some days there were only 3 or 4 birds wanting to eat, but this particular day there were 5. One of my best captures!

Editing

No post processing on the photo.

In my camera bag

I carry the Canon EOS Rebel T2I with a 18-55mm lens and a 75-300mm lens with a doubler.

Feedback

Be patient, you can't rush getting the photo. I wait days on this photo, so great photos come in time. Know where to go get the photos, scope out the area and just wait. Be prepared with the correct lens and the right time of day. But all in all, be patient.
