I really love your photography, it is amazing and I just wanted to tell you that, I am a student at this time. I am taking a long time completing my course but i am getting there, slowly but surely. If I may ask, what do you use for your post production work? Is it Photoshop? Anyway, I love all of your photos but I especially like this one, it is actually just the way I felt this morning sitting at my desk in my office! Have a great day.

I could not love this more, it speaks volumes about time, too much work, not enough time. I wish it was hanging in my office. Reminding me to work less love and play more. Excellent work. bravo xxoo Kristi

There are photographs that are great, then there are photographs that are great works of art! This is both! The color, the composition, the lighting, the texture...everything about this shot screams "SUPERB"! Well done and congratulations! Vicki

I am speechless. It is an excellent creativity. I agree with Kenwindsor, and I allude to you to market your creative ideas and I am sure you would stand in different position in the photography world.

I love this image. As soon as I saw it, it reminded of a sketch I did a number of years ago. It brought back memories. It definately looks better in a photo. Well done! 😊🌞👌

Location
This was taken in my room at university. My room was no very big during this time but I thought the textures on the walls added another layer to the photograph that wouldn't of been there if it was a smooth white wall.Time
I took this around 10pm as my house mates were going out to watch a movie and I decided to stay in to take this photo :)Lighting
The lighting glow that you can see in the centre of the photo is from a flash situated right in front of me and the desk lamp on the right.Equipment
I used a D610, 35mm 1.8 lens, Tripod , 1 flash on a flash stand with umbrella and 1 flash in front of me (subject)Inspiration
As a university student studying chemistry , I know the stress that a lot of people endure when it comes to work and the pressure of getting things done. I wanted to capture that pure form of energy and emotion.Editing
I did quite a lot of post processing on this image. Firstly, this photo was in fact 56 photos stitched together to create this one. All the books were photographed on the same scene and the lighting was kept the same to ensure continuity. I expanded the scene by copying the walls across and making the room look larger than it actually is. The colours were achieved by gradient mapping and used curves to change the colours individually. In my camera bag
In my bag I normally have a D610 , 24-70 2.8 , 50mm 1.8D , 35mm 1.8 DX and a 8mm Fish eye. That included with an SB-600 flash gun and 2 flash transmitters and receivers.Feedback
For capturing something similar the most important thing is to have a picture of the final image in your mind and piece that image together one part at a time. When doing composition work, the hardest thing is to see how it will all fit together after the final edit.
