Location
My photo was taken in my front garden. Little as my garden is I had a Yellow rose bush & as my rosebush developed,I took pictures of it . One day I went out to capture the beauty of a single Rose & bud on the side and couldn't resist in taking the photo ... After seeing the photo , I decided to keep it in color ,but also to turn it into a more retro look .. I decided to give it a somewhat B&W look with a touch of light Sepia ..& this is what I got..Time
This photo was taken around 10 a.m. Eastern Time. The sun shining but not in any way disturbing the way I shot the photo . I made sure it to have shadows of myself within the photo.Lighting
Lighting is important, I'd rather have natural light, I'm careful when shooting in morning, afternoon and evening. I don't want any extra or unwanted figures in my photos .. Carefully use your judgement before shooting your photos ..Equipment
I used my Cannon EOS Rebel t5 I turned my back to the sun and shot only with the morning light. Of course I always shoot more than 1 photo and choose the best one to use 8n whatever I am using the photo in.Inspiration
The love of my small garden . The love of my beautiful roses and nature . The beautiful sun shining on the rosebushEditing

Be still in not moving your hand or camera so that you don't wind up with a blurry photo. If there should be a fly, bee, whatever insect on your object you must be very quiet not to let it get away before you shoot .. Make sure you use the sunshine to your advantage Of course it's beautiful to have a bright beautiful capture but you don't want shadows of yourself appearing in the photo.. If you look thru the lens and see yourself,Don't shoot ! You don't shoot until you just see the object you are shooting and make sure it's clear , because what you see is what you're going to get... Good Luck Capturing !!
