This shot of a moon bow at Yosemite Falls is only possible a few nights of the year. It requires a moon, of course, (not obscured by clouds), enough snow and rain the previous winter to create a thunderous splash to create mist and two good raincoats--one for you and one for your camera. But, here's the odd thing about this experience: the human eye cannot see the colors of the moon bow. White arcs appear in the mist when the moon is at the right angle but in post production, the clever camera "sees" and captures the color which appears like magic on your screen.
