the full frame camera does help in terms of recording detail,however it also has it's drawbacks, notably having to photograph insects from around 3-4 inches away without then flying off! as Capture has already stated it can be done with crop sensors slrs. Look at the work of Thomas Shahan, He is amazing! To me though, the photograph is good because the damselfly satyed still for the indivdual frames, and it's expression is so engaging and uplifting!
