Location
I took this photo on the lowest level of the Lynn Business Center at Stetson University.Time
I recall getting out of class at 11AM one day, although we usually didn’t get out until 11:15. There was not a soul in sight, so this was the first time I was able to stand in an empty space and take in the architectural beauty of the building where I have completed most of my studies.Lighting
I wanted this picture to look vibrant to relay the energy of the students, professors, faculty, and staff in this building, whose positive attitudes and passion for education are contagious.Equipment
I took this photo with my iPhone 11 Pro laying flat on a tabletop.Inspiration
I was inspired to take this photo as I left class early one day. For once, I was able to focus on each individual wall and level, instead of simply focusing on my path around all the other students.Editing
I increased the contrast and saturation of this photo because the original capture was not in the lighting I wanted. It was virtually impossible for me to get the lighting down in the original photo because it was taken on a flat surface on my iPhone. In my camera bag
I have two lenses and a tripod. I don’t currently have much equipment because I just recently got started in the field of photography and I can’t afford equipment at the time.Feedback
I would advise everyone to play close attention their “usual” environments. The most subtle events or changes can always trigger a different perspective, allowing you to explore new angles.
