Location
This photo was taken near Pitlochry in scotland. I went for a drive a seen this next to the road and had to stop for a photo.Time
This was around 3pm it was a sunny day and was one of the few days I got out of my home town after covid restrictions were relaxed. It was great just to get away from everything after be stuck at home for so long.Lighting
This was when the sun was at its height. A few clouds went by when I took the image so there wasn’t too much light bouncing back off the white building.Equipment
Shot on a Canon EOS 77D with a Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD Lens.Inspiration
After covid restrictions were relaxed I just need to get out away from everything. I went out for lunch and took a drive through the country. I spotted this loch with a boat house by the side of the road and just had to stop and take a photo.Editing
I increased the saturation on the grass and trees slightly just to bring out the green and make the boat house stand out more.In my camera bag
Extra batteries, Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD, ND1000 filter, macro lens and a Jobi GorillaPod 3K mini tripod.Feedback
Go out a visit places off the main roads. Go places you’ve never been before and see what is just around the corner. There is always something interesting wherever you go. Sometimes closer than you think.
