This photo was taken in my front yard garden ... a garden of lilies.Time
My favorite flowers, Lilies, were in bloom in my front yard garden. Following an evening of soft rain: I knew I might get a photo shot of raindrops on my lilies ... I found this Yellow Lily, as "stand - out" with one raindrop on a large beautiful yellow petal. The raindrop was centered ... I took a photo and was inspired by "meaning." Most of my photos represent my thoughts or emotions ... the photo with a raindrop represents a tear of very special people in my life. We all carry these tears ... most do not know the why. The color yellow represents my feeling of sadness, as well. Thank you for viewing my photo. Thank you for causing this photo to be even more special. May someone find meaning.Lighting
Morning lighting ... the best. The skies were cloudy.Equipment

In viewing the lilies, in the morning time, my eyes were led to "one drop" upon a Yellow Lily petal. My hope was to achieve clarity .... My hope was to convey the emotion of a "teardrop." Many will understand .... My thought is that I did achieve this emotion.Editing

I have a water proof canvas backpack. This bag carries two Nikon cameras (550 and 3500), and a long lens (600), as well as a macro lens. Most of my photos are taken with one of my cameras. I carry extra batteries and chargers, as well as extra cards, along with close-up magnifier lenses. This featured photo was taken with my iPhone 7 plus ... a stand by for close-up in rainy weather.Feedback
Plan ahead. Always have extra batteries, and charge them ahead. I always carry an extra camera, as a break down, is not welcome on a trip. Plan for early morning photos, if possible, or later evening. I carry my backpack with me on airlines ... request permission and then remove all batteries. My camera pack never leaves my eyes. I have added insurance coverage for both of my cameras and lenses, under my homeowners insurance policy. For rainy outdoor photos, I use my 7 plus - iPhone. Thank you for the privilege, in your views of my photos. Anne or (Anneka)
