Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo down in my bedroom, on my chalkboard wall with my best friend.

Time

This was in the late afternoon, around 4:30ish.

Lighting

The lighting in my room wasn't stellar, I have a basement room so it's a relatively small window to let light in. Most of the light was the light from my bedroom fixture.

Equipment

All I used was my old iPhone 5s.

Inspiration

We did this before the first day of school, because I was moving to a new school, and it was a symbol that we'd always be friends, even if we were apart.

Editing

Ya, I just fiddled around on my phone, with some filters, but I couldn't tell you which ones, it was quite a while ago.

In my camera bag

Nothing much, as an amateur, I can't afford anything fancy, so I just use my little phone, but sometimes I borrow a hand me down Samsung Galaxy S7.

Feedback

I would encourage you to just fiddle around, and have fun. Don't worry if you don't get the "perfect shot" in a photo shoot. Just use it as a learning experience, and enjoy yourself.
