Location
This photo was taken in Scorsby Sound, Greenland. I had gone on a photography trip that a friend of mine talked me into. We spent a week on this lovely 100 year old, wooden sailboat named Donna Wood. They took us out on a small boat so we could take this photo.Time
Midday. The morning was foggy and it rained a lot that day, but cleared enough to get this shot.Lighting
Mother nature provided the mood lighting.Equipment
Cannon 5d Mark III; Tamron 28-300 lens; hand held as we were in a small watercraft to take this photo.Inspiration
This is one of the bucket list photos for the trip and we we so lucky to encounter this magnificent iceberg with the arch.Editing
Some post processing as it was a dark photo. I lightened it a bit and had to take out quite a bit of noise. Luckily it didn't take much post processing as I don't know Photoshop and am learning Lightroom. In my camera bag
I do most of my photography using my Tamron lens as it gives me the most flexibility. I also carry a Canon 24-105 wide angle lens, and of course, extra batteries and cards.Feedback
Brave the elements! Weather can help create great opportunities for fabulous photos! Travel - get out and explore. So many treasures to be found both near and far.
