This photo I took has a LOT of significance and meaning to me. Having been batting stage 3 cancer, one of the hardest to beat, for the last three years. Besides the cancer I have a seizure disorder, two autoimmune diseases and sometimes struggle with depression and anxiety. I LOVE to capture anything in a photo and they all have some kind of meaning to me. I found a day of some energy. I stood on this side of the bridge for many hours-reflecting on so many things. Do you see where the bridge goes or can you only speculate? I didn’t know what I would find on the other end, around the corner, though it looked like darkness and forests but engulfed in beauty- but I pushed on, kept moving forward, excited and scared to see where it would take me -but I pushed on. Just like my life, my battles-I push on and keep going even though I do not know where it will take me or how far. At the other side and beyond was sheer beauty and peace-a calm waking over me, enveloping me as if the forest was whispering to me “trust and all will be ok”.
