This image just came together, it was raining that day and right after they said I do we hopped in the car to go to a quick location, praying the rain would stop! Well it did for about 20 minutes just in time to get the most amazing shots!

Behind The Lens
Location
"The Kiss" was captured in Fort Worth, Texas at a park and walking trail that has old buildings.Time
Absolutely love being able to capture pure emotion like in this image of this beautiful couple on their wedding day! Their wedding was at 1:00pm in the afternoon we got to this location at 2:30. It was a very wet and rainy day no sun that day until we got out to this location. The sky opened up and gave us 20 minutes of beautiful lighting and no rain it was truly a blessing!Lighting
This image was captured with all natural light. Since it was a rainy day I was blessed with nature's beautiful soft box in the sky.Equipment
I captured this image using Canon EOS 5D in manual mode, using the Canon lens 24-70 at 2.8F, 1/200 and the ISO at 800.Inspiration
I wanted to capture the pure essence of this couple's love for each other on their wedding day. I wanted it to be something that they would remember those feelings that they had that day so they could cherish them for a lifetime.Editing
This image I edited in Photoshop with some dodging and burning, a soft boost of color, and added some contrast to make the image pop.In my camera bag
The equipment I always have in my bag is the Canon EOS 5D, 24-70 Canon lens, 70-200 Canon, and 100mm Macro. Those were the first lenses I purchased and I have been using them for the past 12 years.Feedback
As far as advice for capturing images like this is: just being open to try things, getting to really know your clients not just meeting with them once but talking with them multiple times so you know who they are and what their dreams are, this builds trust and helps them relax in front of the camera. I would have never been able to get this image if they didn't trust me and my vision to give them a final product that they absolutely love!
