Summer in Greenland. The light was amazing that day because it was sunny in one direction and dark and gloomy in the other. This was taken about 9am in the morning and was one of the more unusual icebergs we saw: it remnded me of a chameleon.

Location
This photo was taken on holiday in Greenland in August 2018. I have wanted to visit Greenland since I was at school in the 1980s and finally managed to go last year.Time
This was taken about 9.30/10am in the morning from a fast moving small boat. Not at all ideal conditions for photography.Lighting
The weather was changeable - one direction (as seen in this photo) it was dark skies and the other way was blue skies. I preferred the dramatic sky for this photo and the unusual shape of the icebergEquipment
Canon SX60HS handheld, no flash, no tripod, kit lens.Inspiration
I love the shape of this iceberg, so defined and unusual against a lovely backdrop.Editing

Keep trying and don't go for lots of different equipment
