Location

This was taken at my home in Avon, New York last fall=)

Time

This was taken in the late afternoon=)

Lighting

I wanted this image to show the fun that the children were having running together in the leaves! I wanted to present the innocence and fun of outdoor child's play=)

Equipment

This was taken with my canon T6i camera with external flash and was hand held=) I use a high shutter speed to catch the action of them running=)

Inspiration

I do home daycare as well as photography! I am a mom of 7 children and Nana to 8 Grandchildren so I always have plenty of great little subjects to photograph!

Editing

I did do post processing and added in the sunbeams and some of the colored leaves! This was taken on a fairly cloudy day which was great for not having the sun in their eyes but didn't quite give the look I was going for.

In my camera bag

I usually have a T6i and a T5i camera as well s my 55-250 lens and often some other various lenses with me. I also have my external flash to give fill light as needed!

Feedback

I love to do children in un-posed shots! The more fun they are having the better the shots I can get! I like to see natural smiles instead of "cheesy" ones=) I usually let them play for a bit then get them to interact with each other! Leaves are a great thing to get them to run and jump in=)
