Behind The Lens

Location

In an Enchanted forest in Essex, UK

Time

it was in the morning between 10am-12pm

Lighting

Lighting for this picture was all natural, it was an overcast kind of day so the lighting was diffused nicely for us to work in or under...

Equipment

just my Camera

Inspiration

always looking for inspiration and new ideas to try and this was my first 'on location' kind of shoot, so I saw this opportunity to work with a model and wanted to get the experience and try new avenue of photography...

Editing

I did a little post processing in lightroom - I straightened and cropped the picture, changed the s-curve and white balance to get even tone look to it and added a vignette to focus the eye on the model

In my camera bag

camera, flash, spare batteries, spare memory cards, lens cloth, remotes, a drinks bottle.

Feedback

look around an area of woodland and pick a spot with good amounts of light, no harsh shadows from the sun (so ideally a bright cloudy day) and area not too busy so more simplistic the better... also look for a path or leading lines leading to the area..
