Location
This photo was taken in Norway, a summer camping attraction in "Løvøya", i was flying my DJI Mavic Pro and training on flying when i had the chance to take that picture.Time
I remember so well during that time it was a good summer weather, little windy so the drone flying was a bit hard and risky. It was around afternoon time and the campers in there were almost swimming in the lakes around the place, so it was good to take my time and i actually took many test shots before i was able to capture this final outcome.Lighting
The lighting was natural in this time, i liked the effect and how the green colour is popping from the trees and the nature, specially with the little bit of yellow gradient that added some nice effect to my shot.Equipment
I was using my DJI Mavic Pro in this shot.Inspiration
Actually after doing photography since 2011, i was always so interested in drone photography. So During the summer of 2018 i was able to buy my first drone and started doing what was impressing me the most while checking drone photography from other photographers.Editing
With this shot, i had to process the raw image and just add a little bit of sharpening for the image and make it a bit brighter because my final shot was a bit underexposed, so a bit of fixing in the exposure to have the perfect brightness. In my camera bag
Normally i always have my Canon 5D Mark III, a canon wide angle lens 16-35 L, a canon telephoto 70-200 L, a tripod, extra batteries and some Lee 5, 10 and 15 stops. And lately i added my drone to my daily photography bag pack.Feedback
Drone photography is actually exciting, but it requires a lot of time to find the right spots to be able to fly the drone and also safety should come first, like never fly in areas where there will be so many people, and never fly beside airpots. During the shoot make sure the drone is stable and always pay attention on the wind velocity. Always have someone with you who can keep an eye in the skies if you are new to flying drones. Other than that, just never hesitate to take multiple shots, rotate to get better angles and use the manual mode and raw images to be able to get better results after the post processing.
