Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in a small, rented studio in Moscow. I am an amateur photographer, I do not have my own studio

Time

Shooting in a studio, where there is no natural light, does not depend on the time of day.

Lighting

When shooting, two flashes with strip-boxes on the sides and one behind were used. In this picture it is visible, like the moon.

Equipment

This was shot on Canon 5D Mark II, with Canon EF35mm F/1.4L USM lens. Exposure at 1/160 sec and f/6.3 And also almost 10 kg of flour :-)

Inspiration

I saw similar pictures, but did not think to shoot like that. But one day, I got a call from the model and offered this survey. And then I realized that it was with this model that the shooting would come out.

Editing

In Lingttroum the contrast was strengthened, the black point was slightly shifted. After that, the most difficult part of the processing was done in Photoshop: the footprints on the floor were removed.

In my camera bag

In my backpack always lie: a Canon 5D Mark II and 3 lenses - 35, 50 and 85 mm.

Feedback

When going to shoot like that, be prepared for the fact that the flour will be everywhere and after shooting it will take a long time to clean up But the most important is the right model! 80% of successful shots depend on her skill and artistry.
