Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the city of Belgorod, where I live.

Time

In January 2018, I conducted an individual photo session for a girl on the streets of Belgorod. The photo session was scheduled for sunset, when we arrived at the place, I immediately realized that after it was over I would photograph wonderful views of the city, since the lighting was wonderful. And fresh fallen snow intensified the riot of colors at this time. Intuitively evaluating the shooting points, I quickly walked over them and quickly took a photo, since time passes quickly with such light, there is not a second to lose. This is how this picture was born!

Lighting

As I said, it was sunset time. I would like to note additionally that the light of the blue sky, which mixed with the artificial lighting of the city, created a special atmosphere that could not be missed.

Equipment

For photography, I used a Nikon D4 camera with a 14-24 lens and, of course, a tripod and a cable to prevent movement

Inspiration

The inspiration for this shot was lighting, fresh snowfall and of course interesting city vistas.

Editing

Post-processing was minimal, it included standard adjustments for color and light, as well as light cleaning of the frame from possible dust particles on the lens.

In my camera bag

If I go to shoot somewhere, I always try to take the maximum set of equipment: a camera, lenses, flashes, batteries, flash drives and more. Why do I take so much? - you ask. - You never know what surprises may await you on the road and at the final destination. Like this time, I was very lucky and I took this wonderful picture.

Feedback

I would like to wish all photographers to catch and not miss those moments that nature gives us. Look for, note and fix what you see and others do not see. Share your vision of beauty, create joy and smiles on people's faces.
