Behind The Lens

Location

My farm in Florida

Time

Early evening

Lighting

Evening sun on a cloudy & rainy day

Equipment

Nikon d810 with a nikkor 70-200 2.8 leaning against a fence

Inspiration

We had just gotten back from a horse show, usually horses are frisky when they get turned out for th first one in awhile so I was already prepared with my camera, he only had a couple moments of good energy to capture but it was worth it.

Editing

Yes, I mirrored the trees to put the horse in the center, I also removed a chain link fence in n the background and patched up the trees so they weren’t identical. I played with adjustments for n PS just a little a bit.

In my camera bag

Nikon D810, 50mm, 70-200, 20mm

Feedback

Sit and wait and always be ready. It helps the be down low, and to learn what the most flattering stride is for a horse. This particular actually isn’t ideal but he looked powerful in it and uphill.
