This Friesian horses name is Phenomenon, (we call her phoebe) I bred her mom, Abba's Promise, but when she was about a month old, she broke her hip, several vets told me there was nothing I could do and I should put her down... however, 1 vet gave me hope that she could have a happy life. Anyhow, 4 years later we bred Abba's Promise, and she gave me Phenomenon. I planned to keep her as she was my miracle baby... but we got an offer on her that we couldn't refuse. I knew I had to do a photo shoot if her before she left... and this picture was taken just hours before she loaded up on the trailer and moved to Virginia. Everything lined up perfectly, lighting wise that evening for me. And she ran off with the sun.Editing

Wait for the right time. The golden hour is my favorite but it can also be easily missed, especially if it isn't neccisarily a radiant sky and you only have a couple minutes of something really special. Obviously with horses it helps to have a helper! In this case I had my husband getting her to run around a bit. I like to stay low to the ground as it gives a nice aspect.
