I've been a couple of times to this amazing location but never experienced a morning like this. Almost 30 minutes before sunrise the peak of mount Fitz Roy already starts to look with a reddish tone, although it is very subtle.
While the night had been super quiet, after the day came the wind started to blow. I was already in the selected spot for the frames when some clouds danced in the sky over the glorious mountain.
I used a grad filter to capture the movement of the clouds and to balance the exposure vs the reflection. Luckily i found a beautiful branch that helped to enhance the foreground.
30 minutes after this shot the peak had a beautiful red intense color, but still this photo seems very original to me, a totally different mood from the one i would capture 30 minutes after that.
