Behind The Lens

Location

At the Memphis Zoo, Memphis TN

Time

It was in the summer. Early afternoon and very hot and humid.

Lighting

This was taken inside of a building. I know that when taking pictures of birds and animals not to use my flash because it hurts their eyes. So I set my camera for special lighting.

Equipment

I use a Nikon 3200D. Not sure what lens I used. Manual focus and no flash

Inspiration

I liked the way he came out and looked at me and the texture and colors of his feathers

Editing

I probably do some post-processing to make it more sharp and take out the noise and maybe even cropped it (?) not sure

In my camera bag

It depends. If I know I am going to a certain place I carry just a couple of lenses that I think I will need. If I am traveling I carry 5 lenses, cleaning supplies, tripod and of course my camera.

Feedback

I would just say carry your camera with you always because you don't know when you might come upon something that would make a great picture.
