Garden Spider. A common Spider in the UK.
I was so lucky that this spider allowed me to get such a close up photograph. If any of you have seen my macro rig, it's not easy to get within 3-4 inches of bugs. This is a living spider photographed exactly where I found her.

This is one of my favorite macros for a while, Those hairs! They are super sensitive and allow spiders to detect movement on their webs. among loads of other nifty features!

I shall be printing this images in A1 and displaying it in my office.
