Absolutely love it! Definitely one of my favorite photos on Viewbug.

Location
This picture is taken at the Dutch national park Sallandse heuvelrug.Time
After a perfect mixture of the day before with rain and a cold, cloudless night, this picture is taken in the early morning in September when the heather field bloom.Lighting
The lighting is the thing what makes the image, bursting sunrays through the tree, highlighting the heather in the foreground and making the mist more visible.Equipment
this shot was taken with a Canon 6D, manfrotto befree tripod, Lee grad filters, Lee polarizing landscape filter, Nodal Ninja 3 MKII.Inspiration
Well with a view like that how is possible not to be inspired at all? Nature gives the inspiration!Editing
Not had to much of post-processing in this image. Had to stitch images together because it's an panoramic photo, So some tweaking in the white balance and vignetting has been done. Added some sharpening and opened up the shadows and lowered the highlight just a bit. and boosted the vibrance up.In my camera bag
I wander around with a Lowepro Flipside 500 AW backpack, and in it it's a Canon 6d, Canon 24-70mm f/4, Canon 70 - 200mm f/2.8, Nodal Ninja 3 MKII (Panoramic head), Lee Nd Grad square filter set and filter holder, Lee polarizing landschape filter, Lee 10 stop filter, spare batteries and sd cards, beanie and gloves for cold weather, small notepad and pen, business cards, flashlight and a Manfrotto Befree Carbon tripod.Feedback
When trying to capture something similar like this you have to have a rainy day before, and a cloudless cold night, and the temperature has to rise in morning.
