Location
This photo is taken in a Dutch national park called the "De Sallandse Heuvelrug".Time
After a rainy night in the summer in the early morning.Lighting
Used the best lighting, the sun!Equipment
The equipment that I used is a Canon 6d, Canon 24-70mm f/4L, Manfrotto befree tripod, remote switch, Zomei 10 stop filter, an app on my smartphone to calculate the long exposure time (ND Filter Timer).Inspiration
Got up early to do some landscape photography, and found myself a good composition but noticed the clouds flowing towards the sunrise. Few days prior I have bought myself a 10 stop filter, so this I thought it would be the perfect moment to try it out. The camera on set on F11, iso 50, 82 seconds of exposure.....my first long exposure picture!Editing
Because of the color cast, vignetting and it being an RAW image it does needs some post-processing attention! So some tweaking in the white balance and vignetting has been done. Added some sharpening and opened up the shadows and lowered the highlight just a bit. and boosted the vibrance up.In my camera bag
I walk around with a Lowepro Flipside 500 AW backpack, and in it it's a Canon 6d, Canon 24-70mm f/4, Nodal Ninja 3 MKII (Panoramic head), Zomei Nd square filter set and filter holder, Hoya circular polarizer, Zomei 10 stop filter, spare camera batteries and sd cards, beanie and gloves for cold weather, small notepad and pen, flashlight and a Manfrotto Befree Carbon tripod.Feedback
Most important thing about landscape photography is the time and timing, take your time to find the perfect spot, and wait, wait and wait till you get the shot you desire and....click!
