Behind The Lens

Location

The picture was taken in the Grand Canyon national park, on the South rim, near the Grand Canyon Village

Time

We were aiming to catch the sunrise and this was captured during the blue hour, just before the sun came up

Lighting

This as above

Equipment

I was shooting with a Nikon D5100, with a Sigma 18-300 lens, on a Manfrotto tripod

Inspiration

We had made a road trip to the Grand Canyon, to see the Park, and capturing the sunrise only seemed the right thing to do.

Editing

The is actually no post processing, this is how it was captured

In my camera bag

Now, I have a Nikon D500 with a Sigma 17-70 and D810 with a Tamron 24-70. I usually carry my 18-300(DX) and a Nikon 50mm (FX)
