The photo was taken in Singapore while I was living there, I am a self-taught photographer. I have been taking underwater pictures for the last three years and fall in love with Cityscape and Landscape a month ago and I have just started a Photography course online.Time
So far this is my favorite picture from Cityscape and looking forward to making some better one. The shoot was planned and I have been walking around Marina Bay Sands for all evening. At around midnight the chance to see people crossing the Jubilee Bridge is most probable. I placed my tripod and was ready to take the shot using a long exposure to get the best of the lighting.Lighting
The best tips I can share to get that kind of effect on the lighting is to use a long exposure.Equipment
The picture was taken with a Nikon D810 mounted with a 14-24mm Nikon Lens and a Tripod.Inspiration
I have seen that picture on the web and believed I could do something with the lighting, the bridge was at the same time a guiding line.Editing
Most of the time I am doing my workflow with pushing the highlight down and shadowsIn my camera bag
I will always carry my Nikon D810 and Nikon 14-24mm, sometimes I taking my 16-35 mm and Tokina 10-17. I love long exposure and have purchased a Lee Filters kit compose of Little and Big Stopper and ND Grade filter soft and Hard 0,6 and 0,9.Feedback
Marina Bay Sands, it is a very well known place to take pictures. My best time is during the Blue Hours in the morning and late at night when the place becomes quieter. Go around the all place a day before or go on google map to plan your shot.
