Amazing image!
See all

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a misty day in Port Townsend, WA. On a stroll with my camera, I noticed that these tiny white blossoms held within them tiny droplets of dew. Looking closer, I could see the image each droplet held within!

Time

Late morning.

Lighting

This image was captured “au naturel,” found in nature with the late morning natural sunlight.

Equipment

Hand-held Panasonic Lumix FZ300 with Raynox clip-on macro lens.

Inspiration

I am often inspired and surprised by the tiny worlds all around us. Having an easy-to-use clip-on macro lens has expanded my world immensely!

Editing

Cropped the image.

In my camera bag

Panasonic FZ300, Sony RX10iv, Raynox clip-on 250 macro lens.

Feedback

Take your time, look closely. Since I shoot hand-held, I often shoot in bursts so that even with the inevitable movement, I may get a good shot!
