Focus and lighting are perfect. Framing is spot on, as well. I really like this image. Well done!

I love this! The lighting is perfect as well as the composition. Reminds me of playing with the Quija Board when we were kids.

Location
This photo was taken inside of my sister's room. We were playing with a Ouija board together when I was inspired to take this shot.Time
Naturally, because we were playing with a Ouija board, this photo was taken late at night. The apartment was dark and quiet, perfect for summoning spirits or taking moody photos.Lighting
The only lighting used is that which was emitted by the electric candles that surround the board. It really helped set the mood for the photo and was the catalyst that got me thinking about taking a picture.Equipment
I used my Canon EOS Rebel T3i with its kit lens and my own two hands. It was all done very quickly, so I didn't have time to grab my tripod, and I don't think that a flash would have been appropriate in this situation.Inspiration
There was a very supernatural feeling that I wanted to capture. Playing with a Ouija board has that sense of creepiness and a little bit of danger that makes it thrilling. For some it might bring feelings of nostalgia for a time when they, too, would play games such as this for a bit of fun.Editing
I had to brighten and increase the clarity of the image since it was taken in such a dark setting. In my camera bag
I am always carrying around either my Canon EOS Rebel T3i or T5i and their respective kit lenses. Sometimes, I'll bring along a tripod and remote shutter if I'm on the lookout for a specific type of shot. My photography style is very spontaneous, so I don't always have time to set up a tripod.Feedback
Inspiration can strike anywhere, so always have your camera ready. Make it your goal to take a photo that captures what you feel in a situation, because it creates a more compelling subject for the viewer. Simple photos can be extraordinary if you have a relatable subject and take care in framing them. It's nice to have a controlled environment with tripods, lighting, and time, but sometimes subjects sneak up on you, so it's important to be comfortable with taking a quick shot by hand.
