Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in North East, MD. I stood at the end of Razor Strap Road and shot up Wells Camp Road. It was a very pretty snow, that didn't stick on the road, just the grasses and trees. It looked like it was a white lacy canopy across the road.

Time

This image was taken in the middle of the morning. No tripod, just handheld, while the kids played in yard trying to make a snowman with the little bit of snow that received that day. I believe that the photo was taken in the winter of 1997.

Lighting

It was a bright, but cloudy day.

Equipment

This was shot on a Canon PowerShot A60 camera. Very old digital camera, but quite a nice shot at the time.

Inspiration

I was looking to get some shots of the trees because the canopy was beautiful.

Editing

None

In my camera bag

I now carry a Nikon P900 and Nikon P520, with my filters for the P900. I carry a tripod mount ring and a window mount tripod.

Feedback

Practice, Practice, Practice. Look at your lighting, look where you would like your photo to be located and just shoot.
