Location
This was taken at the very popular local art installation "Another Place" by Sir Antony Gormley located on the beach at Crosby, Merseyside UK.Time
It was taken just after sunset. The light was particularly spectacular that night.Lighting
It really didn't look like it was going to be a spectacular sunset, but then the golden colors started to show and the sky just lit up.Equipment
Canon EOS 7D, iso 3200. I had to push the iso quite a bit.Inspiration
I just love this location. It's quite local, so I quite like visiting.Editing
All post processing was done in Lightroom. This is actually quite an old image. I used an updated version of Lightroom to process and I was really surprised at how the enhancements in Lightroom have progressed. Just goes to show you should never throw old images away!In my camera bag
Canon 5DSR, 11-24mm L lens, 24-70 F2.8 L lens, 70-200 f.28 mk2 L lens. Plus Lee filter system. I'm using the new 150mm system.Feedback
Never ever underestimate the light! Sometimes you'll see what you think is a flat sunset, but then nature kicks in and the light after sunset is unbelievable.
