I see we have the same camera. I tried to get this shot, but with my 300mm zoom, but it is way too small still to get a decent shot. Cropped to 1000 X 1000 pixels there was still room to spare, since the moon is only about 625 pixels wide. This blood moon was so dark I tried a long exposure, but I found out how much the moon seems to move within 30 seconds, which is quite a bit.
