Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken during a one week tour of Scotland with my family by campervan. I was the driver but managed to stop every now and then without bothering my little ones too much

Time

It was middle morning, a lot of wind blowing constantly changing the cloudscape

Lighting

Equipment

This was shot with an Olympus omd em1, equipped with a zuiko digital 12-40 f2.8, a hoya circular polarizing filter and a tripod

Inspiration

I was deeply moved by the loneliness and wilderness of the place, together with the beautiful colors, also reflected in the lake water

Editing

Standard Lightroom adjustments plus color efex

In my camera bag

Two cameras (the Oly mentioned above plus a leica m3 with summicron-m 50), an additional portrait prime, a polarizer, two colored filters for b&w and a tripod

Feedback

Remember good old composition rules (here the rule of thirds was applied), even just to break them!
