A photo shoot in a forest close to Halle, BelgiumTime
it was around 5 in the afternoon. the sun was starting to go down.Lighting
Natural light is just awesome. There was enough light to shoot at 100 ISO.Equipment
My Canon 5D Mark II with a Canon 24-70mmL at f/2.8. That's all.Inspiration
We were just experimenting with the forest surroundings. She was lying down on her back, and I made some kind of bed of leaves to have color and texture around her face. This photo was the start of a series of "Organic portraits", because I liked the effect so much.Editing
Not much. Some it to the face and some warmer colors. In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mk2/3, with the 24-70mm, a 50mm f/1.4 and a 70-200mm f/2.8.Feedback
If the model lies on the ground/floor, point her head towards the light. It gives a nice effect when she looks into the camera and when she looks up towards the light.
