Behind The Lens

Location

The picture was taken last year in France, Baume-les-Messieurs, situated in department of Jura.

Time

It was taken around 16 p.m. This is one of my favorite pictures, because it provokes the imagination. That is why I named it "Can you see the face of a dog?"

Lighting

Not really. But there was a nice shadow from the trees in front of the object, which somehow made it interesting.

Equipment

It was shot on my Nokia phone. No other equipment was involved.

Inspiration

I loved this place just right the very moment I saw it. It appears in front of you all of a sudden. The first thing that impressed me was how the water is melting nicely with the greens and is creating in a wonderful way a natural painting. And then, several days after, I realized what was painted. It was a "wow" moment. I was excited and I wanted to share it. This is actually how I started building up my "Viewbug" profile.

Editing

No. I am an amateur photographer and I use very simple devices. As I say in my profile: "What I saw is what you see." To me this is the true photography. To present things as they are, the way they impressed us. Because this is the reason we shot them on first place, right?!

In my camera bag

Telephone, tablet. Please, do not laugh at me..... I am still dreaming of having one great Canon or Nikon camera. My best equipment: my heart, eyes and the light.

Feedback

Be patient, observant and curious for everything.
