Behind The Lens
Location
This image was done in my house, my wife and I did not have much to do, so, we started performing several shots maternity, and it is my first picture in this way.Time
It was afternoon when a good light enters through the window, because it would be my primary light source.Lighting
It was for me a surprise result because I was actually looking to make a dramatic black and white, loving, maternal, that the image was as natural as possible, with natural light.Equipment
For this use a canon rebel t3 with 50mm in hand, the primary light source was a large window of my home.Inspiration
What most desired image is actually show the love that I have to my son and my wife through a black and white image .. it's hard for me to determine otherwise, because it was exactly what i wanted. Natural, dramatic, some people tell me that the baby is newborn and no, my baby in the picture is 1 year old.Editing
Use photoshop to do some retouching skin, obviously to change it to monocromatico and add a little contrast, increase a little black, but rather little.In my camera bag
No Preference, depends on what I make, I like to do many interactive landscapes (vr 360), when I go to portray just take the camera 6d with 50mm ... but if I am doing landscapes, I took the lens 14mm Samyang . Almost always I carry a tripod with me.Feedback
I made this picture with natural light from a window, my best advice is to experiment much that kind of light .. I realize this picture, but you can make much better example using only a window !! That incredible !! A simple window you can give incredible light to make an image that reaches thousands of homes, and causing a good feeling and it all started with a window.
