Milkbank House, Kettleholm NY1406 7608
Milkbank House is the historic home of the Bell-Irving family and has been derelict since circa 1960. The Annandale way runs past the front of the house. It is believed that the house was used as a hospital for servicemen during WWII. There are many concrete foundation slabs in the field in front of the house and these are likely to have been from buildings constructed during the war in connection with the hospital.
