This beautiful silver leaved white flowered perennial will produce a rampant creeping carpet of snowy ground cover starting in spring and lasting right through till autumn. Commonly known as ’mouse-ear chickweed’ for the distinctive shape of its cloven petals, its evergreen leaves will for a mat of weed suppressing foliage making this an ideal choice for rockeries, dry stone walls or general ground cover. Cerastium will grow anywhere, even in very poor dry soil where other plants fail.
