Location

This photo was taken in a small town in Maine. As you come off the interstate and round a corner there was a whole junkyard full of old cars. Sadly, it is no longer there. I saw this on one of our trips down and I wanted to stop and take a picture. It was mid-afternoon and was a brief stop. I was once asked how long it took to get the lighting and everything right. It was just a quick snap on the road, just a stroke of luck I guess. It's also one my favorites.

Equipment

I had a little hand-held Samsung camera.

Inspiration

I loved the scene of old cars, I have other shots, but that was the best one.

Editing

I cropped the photo to remove some of the other cars in the background. I still have the original.

In my camera bag

Just my camera. I now have a GE camera, nothing fancy.

Feedback

No advice, as I said, it was apparently just pure luck on getting such a great shot.
