You should send a copy of this to the Delta Powers that Be. It is a very comforting shot. It says, "Delta brings you home safely before dark." I'm not kidding! :)

Location
This photo was taken at the Hilo Airport on the Big Island of Hawaii.Time
This photo was taken right near sunset.Lighting
As the sun started to set, the warm magical golden hue flooded in all the windows at the airport which caused me to pause and reflect.Equipment
I used the Leica V-Lux camera to capture this.Inspiration
I so remember taking this picture due to the fact I was leaving Hawaii and was so depressed. A friend told me that Madam Pele will let you know if she would like you to return to the island via the sky, clouds or rainbow. I was sitting in the airport and I looked up and everything had a beautiful golden hue. I grabbed my camera and snapped the picture and said Mahalo to Madam Pele for letting me know I was welcome to return.Editing
Nothing needed to be done with this picture as it was exactly what I saw at the time. Would not want to interfer with the gift provided. In my camera bag
Normally I have Nikon D810 camera, flash unit, extra batteries, Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8D ED AF Zoom, powerful flashlight, camera rain cover, extra flash memory cards.Feedback
There are a couple of things I would advise anyone. (1) Know your camera inside/out. Play with it everyday so that you can quickly make adjustments without thinking. When that special moment comes, you will NOT have time to adjust... I just got my Nikon (had the Leica before) and it was like starting over. (2) I prefer to have a zoom always on and will carry other lens. I find that the adapatability from the zoom allows more freedom in quick situation. And (3) HAVE FUN... I get lost in seeing the beauty around me and try to capture all I can...would not trade it for the world.
