Behind The Lens

Location

i took this photo in our shearing shed

Time

i took it at "smoko"(morning tea), at shearing time it is all hands on deck, and while my husband shears and i do the wool with my father in law my mother in law watches the kids

Lighting

i just happened to notice they were sitting in a beautiful beam of light coming through a huge open door

Equipment

my Camerea is a canon 6D and the lens was a 70-200 2.8 IS USM lens

Inspiration

how could i not be inspired, seeing the unconditional love and joy being shared in this moment, they were in there own little world, didn't even see me get the camera out.

Editing

i did just a basic clean edit in RAW and just a few minor adjustments in PS Darkened the back ground a little bit and added a touch of contrast

In my camera bag

i have my 6D body more often than not my 70-200 attached to it, i also have a 24-105 f 4 in there attached to my trusty Canon rebel 1100, a 50mm f1.4 and a speed light.

Feedback

advice for this kind of shot, well i really think i was so lucky to get this with out being seen and distracting from the moment, i would suggest positioning your self for the best light and stepping a bit further back so you don't get noticed and just see what magic happens.
